Information on processing of personal data after the 25th of May, 2018

Dear Sir or Madam,

Because you are one of our Partners and have provided us with your personal data, which we process only for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes and in accordance with our binding agreement, this information is relevant to you. We would like to inform you that on the 25th of May 2018, the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter the GDPR), were brought into effect. The new GDPR will introduce clear and harmonized rules for the processing of personal data throughout the European Union – and these rules are also, of course, applicable to us. As such, we would like to inform you about the data processing rules and the rights you are entitled to from the 25th of May, 2018.

The entity that sets goals for your data and decides how to process it is COLWAY INTERNATIONAL S.A. based in Koleczkowo (with its registered office at ul. Why do we process your data?

Within the framework defined by law and in accordance with the consent given by you, your personal data is used primarily to conclude, implement and possibly amend the agreement concluded with you. The personal data we collect from you is used for the following purposes:

To enable you to use the functions of Our Website, make purchases and contact us, and most importantly to implement the provisions of the agreement regulating the principles of Our cooperation in accordance with Article 6 Para. 1 letter b of the GDPR.

To communicate with you for marketing and promotional purposes and to send you commercial information in accordance with Article 6 Para. 1 letter a) of the GDPR, based on your separate consent.

To create statements, analyses, statistics for internal use, including 

in particular reports, market research, service development planning, development work in our internal systems and creation of statistical models, all in accordance with Article 6 Para. 1 letter f) “legally justified interest”.

Who sees your data?

In achieving the above goals, we process your personal data ourselves, and we also provide it to entities working with us. In order to provide you with the highest quality services, your data is also made available to Partners within your own structure, or directly to recommending persons. These entities process your personal data on our behalf and are obliged to keep it confidential. We also provide your personal data to entities that provide services related to our services to you, and which are separate administrators of personal data. These entities process your data on their own behalf, for example courier firms and the post office, banks and payment institutions. 

How long do we keep your data?

Your data will be processed and stored for the time needed to process it. Personal data processed in order to conclude or perform our agreements and fulfil our legal obligations will be kept for the duration of the agreement, and after its expiry for the time necessary for after-sales services (e.g. handling complaints), or for securing or seeking any claims related to the agreement. 

In the case of the processing of your personal data on the basis of your consent, the processing time will depend on the duration of your consent – i.e. until it is revoked.

Your rights

Under the provisions of the GDPR, you have the right to:

Inspect your personal data and obtain information on the purpose, range and manner of its processing, as well as about the recipients of your data,

Correct or complete incomplete data or delete it,

Request temporary or permanent suspension of your data’s processing, or object to its processing,

Request a copy of your data,

Withdraw your expressed consent to the processing of your data at any time – however, this withdrawal does not affect your consent to its processing before it is given,

Bring a complaint to the competent supervisory body regarding the protection of your personal data.
